Srivalli To Shake Leg With Janhvi or Tripti Dimri?

Ever since Samantha’s Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava became a sensation in Pushpa: The Rise, it was implied that Pushpa: The Rule will follow the steps of its predecessor with a special dance number as well.

If sources are to be believed, Bollywood actresses Janhvi Kapoor and Tripti Dimri are being considered for a special item song in the film. This exciting development has fans eagerly awaiting the release of the song, which promises to be an electrifying addition to the film.

Janhvi Kapoor, who is slowly inching her way into Tollywood with Devara and RC 16, usually displays her passion for dance through clips of her kathak performances on Instagram from time to time. In 2021, she has also danced for a song titled ‘Nadiyon Paar’ in her film Roohi, which became a viral sensation.

Tripti Dimri, on the other hand, gained nationwide fame after playing Zoya aka Bhabhi 2 in Animal. Though she hasn’t danced in any of her previous films, she is currently one of the most popular faces in the country right now, and her entry in Pushpa 2 is making all the right noises.

Initially, the Pushpa team had their sights set on Deepika Padukone for the special song. However, they later discovered that she was pregnant, ruling out the possibility of her participation in the dance number.

Adding to the excitement, Pushpa’s Srivalli aka Rashmika Mandanna is also rumoured to shake a leg in this item song. By all ways, it looks like the makers of Pushpa are trying to up their scale and stakes to ensure double the entertainment in its sequel.
