We Ran 3 Companies For Kalki: Nag Ashwin

Prabhas’ futuristic sci-fi Kalki 2898 AD is the most expensive movie in Indian cinema. The makers spend a high budget not just on production, but also on pre-production, post-production, and promotions. They are also coming up with an animated series called Bujji And Bhairava. The series will be out tonight. Besides releasing a trailer, they also screened the first episode to a few select people.

Nag Ashwin made some startling revelations while speaking at the event. He stated that he got the idea of making the animated series two years ago. The director also disclosed that they had to float three different companies for the movie. “We ran 3 companies for Kalki- Vyjayanthi Automobiles, Vyjayanthi Animation and Vyjayanthi Movies.”

As we all know, Vyjayanthi Movies has been making movies for the last 5 decades, while Vyjayanthi Automobiles was established to build Bujji, and Vyjayanthi Animation is the production partner alongside Green Gold Animation to make Bujji And Bhairava series.
