Vigilant Times Ahead For Sharwanand

The month of June is almost here, and the Sharwanand starrer Manamey is set to release next Friday on the 7th of June. Directed by Sriram Adittya, the film stars Krithi Shetty as a heroine. Hesham Abdul Wahab is the music composer of the film, while People Media Factory is producing it.

Even though there isn’t much time for promotions, People’s Media Factory locked their release date just ten days in advance. Now, Sharwanand and his team need to rush their promotions. The team is currently facing some issues and challenges with respect to their release date.

Firstly, there is the announcement of election results on June 4, which brings widespread anticipation about who will win a term to power in Andhra Pradesh. Starting from June 3, people will not be thinking about anything except the elections for the next couple of days. This means from June 3 to 5, the public will be largely preoccupied with this. Manamey’s team also needs to hold a pre-release event. There isn’t sufficient buzz around this film yet. The teaser has given a glimpse of the story, but the trailer needs to be released so that people get a better idea about the film.

From a competition perspective, there isn’t another film like Manamey releasing on June 7. Kajal Aggarwal’s Satyabhama is a crime thriller targeting a niche audience. For Navdeep’s Love Mouli on the other hand, it’s hard to say if people will rush to theaters on the first day or weekend. Good word of mouth is crucial for Love Mouli. Bharateeyudu 2 is also releasing on June 7. The movies that came out on May 31 will continue into their second week. Amidst all these challenges, Sharwanand’s team must undertake aggressive promotions in order to attract the audiences towards their film.
