Always making headlines for his choice of words, acts and happenings, once again 30-years dialogue fame Prudhvi Raj, is once again being talked about now.
This time, when he’s enjoying the fact that Janasena won it big in the elections and he’s part of the political party now, a Vijayawada Court has issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against him.
Back in 2017, Prudhvi and his wife Srilakshmi obtained a divorce and at that time he agreed to pay alimony of ₹8 lakhs to her monthly for maintenance. As his earnings used to be nearly ₹30 lakhs per month, paying such an amount is something he has agreed upon.
However, in the last couple of years, not only did he stop paying the money but not even turn up at Court as Srilakshmi lodged another case against him. Now that he’s not responding, a Vijayawada Family Court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant to take him into custody.
On the other hand, Prudhvi is expecting some important position in the Janasena Party and recently he has even campaigned aggressively for the party during the 2024 general election.
