Kalki 2898 AD is one of the upcoming films in Telugu. Prabhas is starring in the lead role, and the film is directed by Nag Ashwin. The film also features Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and others who play crucial roles. Since the film was made on a budget of 700 Cr rupees, the film unit opted for price hikes.
The producers got approval for a 75 rupee hike in single screens and 100 rupees for Multiplexes. Including taxes, the ticket price will be 413 rupees for Multiplexes and 265 rupees for single screens. Since the film is releasing in 3D, the price for 3D glasses is additional.
Multiplex, like Prasads, offers top-class 3D glasses for 100 rupees. Altogether, the ticket price for multiplex is going to be 513 rupees.
Additionally, the makers are planning to hold early morning shows at 5:30 AM in Telangana. For these special shows, the makers are planning to fix a different ticket price. The ticket price for special shows will be 377 rupees, while the price for multiplex will be 495 rupees.
In all possible ways, the film will have special shows in Telangana on release day, and if the film gains positive feedback, it will bring a lot of revenue for the film. Though the numbers look a little overboard, they can be defended in the case of Kalki. Such is the craze for the film.
The movie is releasing on the 27th of this month.
