Kalki: Special Aspect of Film’s Cast

Nag Ashwin is one of the brilliant directors we have in Telugu currently. With his latest outing, Kalki, the director has come to theatres to offer technical brilliance to fans and movie lovers. The best part of the film is its cast which features the best of the Indian cinema. And the special element is that all these actors are dubbed in Telugu.

From Amitabh Bachchan to Saswata Chatterjee, everyone learned Telugu and dubbed for their roles in the native language. It is a known fact that Amitabh played the role of Ashwatthama, and he must be appreciated for learning the language and delivering the lines on his own. His base voice in Telugu sounded perfect for the character.

Kamal Haasan has given voice for his role in the film. He has some lengthy dialogues and it is not very difficult for him since he is used to speaking in Telugu. The other actors like Sobhana, Pasupathi, Saswata Chatterjee, Anna Ben, Deepika and others also dubbed on their own.

It is indeed a clever move to get the actors voice for their roles in the film and special appreciation for all the non-Telugu speaking actors.
