On Sunday evening, the media groups buzzed-about Nandamuri Balakrishna donating 1.5 Cr rupees to those affected by the ongoing floods in Hyderabad city. The message also carried the information that Balakrishna sent Biryani packets to the flood-affected area via his Basavataraka Rama Seva Samithi. However, in no time, the news turned out to be a fake one. The close associates of the actor revealed that there is no truth in the news.
There is no clarity on who spread this message across the media, but it put the actor and his fans in a fix. Balakrishna has earlier announced a lot of donations during several calamities, and he has extended his charity work during the Corona crisis time as well.
The current message went viral on social media because no one else has announced a donation in the current scenario. The fans thought that Balakrishna is creating a trend by inspiring other celebrities to come up with the donations. But, the message turned out to be a fake one.
We have to see if Balakrishna announces any donation now, and it will be a curious case to see how the message popped up in the media.
