‘Don’t Blame My Wife for Me Supporting Samantha’

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently shared an Instagram story recommending an “alternative approach” to treating viral infections: using a nebulizer with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and distilled water.

It opened to widespread criticism from everyone, resulting in Samantha explaining the same. Still, her defense intensified the criticism. Not many supported Samantha, but her friend Rahul Ravindran defended the actress.

Rahul Ravindran’s wife Chinmayi dubs for Samantha for almost all her films. The trio share a great bond. Rahul even wanted to do a film starring Samantha, but it did not materialize. However, his support for Samantha is adding negativity against him.

“She is science illiterate like a lot of us. No doubt. But she is also someone who does meticulous research about a treatment before taking it. Because it is her own health at stake, she had a highly qualified doctor trained in medicine who suggested this therapy to her. And she also read scores of articles by such qualified people recommending it and carefully instructing usage. She, like many of us, doesn’t know who’s right. Since you do seem to care about this information being put out… would have been nice if you had engaged in a debate with a fellow doctor rather than go after her and… I am sure she inadvertently put a target on her back for an opinionated mob,” wrote Rahul.

These comments invited criticism against Rahul saying that since his wife is a friend of Samantha, he had to face this heat. Rahul, however, has an explanation for the same.
