One of the prominent Telugu cinema distributors in the USA, Harish Sajja, has passed away due to a cardiac arrest. He breathed his last in Atlanta city of the USA. Harish distributed many Telugu movies through the Ficus group. He entered into this business with the 2006 release Rakhi.
Later, he went on to distribute many big-budget films like Dookudu, Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Aagadu, 1: Nenokkadine, Robo and Race Gurram. He was also the first US distributor to join the million-dollar club in Tollywood with Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu.
His last film as a distributor was the 2016 release, Janatha Garage, which was also a big hit at the box office.
Many film industry celebrities and members of the overseas distribution community are distraught over Harish’s passing and are offering their condolences. May his soul rest in peace.
