Telugu heroine Rakul Preet Singh’s brother, Amanpreet Singh, has been arrested by the Cyberabad police in connection with a drugs-related case if reports in Telugu channels are anything to go by.
According to reports, Amanpreet was apprehended while allegedly purchasing drugs from four Nigerians. Police are said to have seized 200 grams of cocaine worth ₹2 crores from the peddlers before arresting them, and also arrested Amanpreet for being the alleged buyer. Previously Rakul Preet Singh herself has also been summoned by the ED multiple times in the past, as part of the drugs and money laundering case. The actress has been questioned about her alleged links to the drug racket and suspicious financial transactions.
In September 2021, Rakul Preet Singh appeared before the ED in Hyderabad, where she was grilled for hours about her potential involvement. The agency had asked her to provide her bank statements to scrutinize any suspicious activity.
