The upcoming Telugu film “Raaja Saab” has sparked rumors about remixing the iconic song “Khaike Paan Banaras Wala” from the 1978 Bollywood classic “Don.” However, the production team has denied these reports, calling them “wrong information.”
The song “Khaike Paan Banaras Wala” is a beloved classic, featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Zeenat Aman. Composed by Kalyanji–Anandji, the song was sung by Kishore Kumar and has been widely recognized as one of the most memorable tracks in Indian cinema. The film “Don” itself has been remade several times, including in Telugu as “Yugandhar” in 1979, starring NT Rama Rao and the song also got remixed as “Orabba Vesukunnaa Killii”.
Recent reports suggested that “Raaja Saab” would feature a remix of “Khaike Paan Banaras Wala,” however, SKN, a team member of “Raaja Saab,” has dismissed these rumours, stating that they are baseless. “Raaja Saab” is directed by Maruthi and stars Prabhas in an entertaining role.
