Natural Star Nani is enjoying the best phase in his career with consecutive hits. The actor who is awaiting the release of his next outing Saripodhaa Sanivaaram also signed some crazy projects.
Nani had a dominating show in 2023 as he delivered two massive blockbusters- Dasara and Hi Nanna. Nani’s domination was witnessed in the nominations for major awards. While Dasara received 10 SIIMA including Best Actor and 8 FilmFare Awards, his other movie Hi Nanna was nominated in 9 categories. This truly is a stupendous accomplishment, as no other Tollywood hero movies received these many nominations in a year.
Apart from Nani, heroines Keerthy Suresh and Mrunal Thakur also got nominations. Interestingly, Dasara and Hi Nanna were the first directorial ventures for Srikanth Odela and Shouryv respectively who also received nominations. Both these directors presented Nani in two diverse characters, whereas the actor shined in two different characters. He was exceptional in a raw and rugged character in Dasara, whereas Nani won the hearts of all in a very matured role in Hi Nanna.
Both Dasara and Hi Nanna are expected to win awards at SIIMA as well FilmFare Awards, given the content of these movies, was unique and they received huge applause post their release from critics as well.
