Samantha Didn’t Want To Do Citadel Honey Bunny

Samantha is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming series, Citadel Honey Bunny. Created and directed by Raj-DK, the series will be released next month. During the promotions, Samantha revealed how she does not want to be a part of this film.

In a recent interview, Samantha opened up on the physical stress she had to undergo for the film because of some demanding action sequences. Having been diagnosed with myositis then, she almost begged Raj and DK to replace her.

“I pleaded for them to go away because I didn’t think I could do it. I sent other recommendations, like ‘See this heroine, she’ll kill it.’ I was not well and truly believed I couldn’t handle it,” Samantha shared.

However, Raj and DK did not consider Samantha’s repeated requests and went ahead with her only. “Watching the show now, I’m thankful they didn’t make it without me,” she says.

‘Citadel Honey Bunny’, the spin-off of American series ‘Citadel’ starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden, will air on 7 November on Amazon Prime Video.
