Nandamuri scion and Balakrishna’s son Mokshagna Teja is all set to take a plunge into acting following the footsteps of his father Balakrishna.
His debut film, which was announced a couple of months much to the cheer of Nandamuri fans, will be helmed by hotshot filmmaker Prashanth Varma who gained pan-India popularity with the superhero blockbuster Hanu-Man.
While the formal launch of this much anticipated debut is likely to happen very soon, the makers are in quest to find a suitable and fitting onscreen partner for Mokshagna. Reportedly, the search is on for bringing a young starlet from Bollywood on board for this film.
Though there have been numerous speculations that popular Hindi actress Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rashi Thadani is the forerunner to play Mokshu’s romantic interest in this film, no female lead has been finalized so far. Sources revealed that the news is just a rumour as Prashanth Varma is very particular to lock a Bollywood diva opposite the Nandamuri star kid.
As the team continues its hunt to find a perfect heroine for Mokshagna, rumours continue to float on media circles. Meanwhile, it is believed that the film will be blend of mythology and socio-fantasy and going to feature heavy-duty VFX like Varma’s previous outing Hanu-Man. There are reports that Balakrishna will appear in a significant role in this film.
Balakrishna’s daughter Tejaswini and SLV Cinemas banner will jointly pool the money bags for this big-budget entertainer. It will hit the screens in 2025.
