‘Pinch Me or Burn Me, My Face Is Not Plastic’

Nayanthara is one of the star heroines in South and she carries the tag, Lady Superstar. The actress is often praised for her glamour and a lot of times, she is even criticised for undergoing some brutal changes to her face to look ultra glamorous. Naynathara broke this myth in a latest conversation with Hauterrfly.

Answering to a question about how she prepares herself for a red carpet event, Nayanthara said, “I take the time to perfect it because it’s the real game changer. I’ve had different brow phases over the years. Maybe that’s why people think my face is changing and I keep looking different. Maybe that’s why a lot of people think I’ve done something to my face.”

Nayanthara went on to explain it saying, “But that’s not true. On record…not true. Not that it’s wrong. But for me, it has just been diet, so there’s been a lot of weight fluctuation and my cheeks go in and out. You can pinch me, burn me, you’ll know there’s no plastic in here.”

It is quite common to pass comments on the actors and their beauty but a lot of times, it ist just the natural changes that occur and they have to undergo massive criticism. Hope Nayanthara’s subtle answer to critics help everyone understand that at the end of the day, everyone has a choice.

On the work front, Nayanthara’s next films are Test and Mannangatti Since 1960.
