‘I will quit Movies if Ka Fails’ Says Kiran Abbavaram

Kiran Abbavaram’s Ka will compete at the box office this Diwali against Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Bhaskar. Both films will be released on October 31. The Ka team recently held a pre-release event in Hyderabad, where Naga Chaitanya was the chief guest.

Kiran shared how his recent meeting with Naga Chaitanya in Chennai led him to invite Chaitanya, affectionately called “Chay Anna,” to the event.

“Despite his shoot tomorrow, he joined us here. That means a lot,” Kiran said gratefully.

Kiran expressed his gratitude for the support from the Akkineni family. “Akhil Anna supported me at the Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha event. Nag sir blessed us on the Bigg Boss set, and now Chay Anna is here. I feel very fortunate,” he shared.

And then, Kiran delivered an emotional speech, addressing all those who is criticising and trolling Kiran for quite sometime. Kiran shared his frustration over the misunderstandings surrounding his background.

“People spread rumors that I am the son of an MP or a politician. I don’t understand why some people don’t want to see me succeed,” he admitted. He even mentioned that a production house once trolled him directly in one of their films, questioning the reason behind this targeted criticism.

“I’ve had hits and flops—like everyone else. Just making a film and bringing it to theaters is an achievement. I did eight movies in 4 years. According to me, I am not a failure actor. I delivered four decent films.”

Addressing online criticism, Kiran urged people to think twice before trolling. “Yes, I’ve made bad films. It’s part of my journey. I can’t guarantee success in every project, but I promise to give my best,” he said.

With Ka, he emphasized it was an “honest attempt” and not necessarily a masterpiece, yet he stood by it confidently. “If anyone feels that Ka is a bad film, I’ll quit movies. That’s my promise,” he declared, underscoring the dedication he and his team poured into the film.
