It is no secret that several Bollywood stars have this infamous and unhealthy habit of smoking. King Khan, Shah Rukh is no exception to the same as he too is a chain smoker and admittedly smokes in excess of 100 cigarettes a day.
However, in a much-needed change, SRK has now quit smoking and he revealed the same in a recent fan meet.
The Bollywood superstar has announced that he has quit smoking and is no longer an active smoker. SRK said he quit this habit to have less breathlessness but sadly that isn’t happening just yet.
“I wanted to feel less breathless all the time, but that’s not happening yet, despite stopping smoking. But with god’s grace, I might get there sooner than later. But I feel good to have been done with my smoking habit.” He remarked.
Superstars like SRK coming out and publicizing that they have quit smoking is always a good sign as it could inspire a few others to be done with this highly injurious habit. Notably, Mahesh Babu had already advocated against smoking in the past after having quit the habit.
