RRR Bheem Controversy: BJP Bandi Sanjay Warns Rajamouli

There are filmmakers who tried to make their film popular using controversial subjects and there are others who get caught in unwanted and unexpected controversies. A sensitive line these days has more chances to attract controversy and the same is happening with Rajamouli’s RRR.

Rajamouli’s RRR Bheem teaser was released on Komaram Bheem’s birth anniversary. NTR’s Muslim look in the teaser-end triggered contradicting comments from BJP supporters and today during the Dubbaka by-poll campaign, Bandi Sanjay warned Rajamouli.

Bandi Sanjay warned Rajamouli of severe consequences to his movie RRR teaser showing Bheem in Muslim Kufi cap. Bandi Sanjay even challenged Rajamouli to place a saffron shawl on a Muslim in old-city or a bindi on a nizam razakar face, just like he put a Taqiyah cap for Bheem character in RRR.

Sanjay threatened Rajamouli to stop the release of RRR or warned him of dire consequences for the whole Telangana community. Sanjay threatened to burn theaters of RRR, also asking to respect their feelings.

Recently, films like Laxmmi Bomb and Valmiki had to change their film titles to Laxmii and Gaddalakonda Ganesh respectively, owing to the pressure of controversies.
