Suriya’s Kanguva is all set for release on November 14th and the team is promoting the movie at their best. Amid the controversies and doubts regarding the release with the producer’s past settlement with Reliance and the theaters’ allocation due to Amaran’s consistent performance, the producer was asked about the slow bookings of the Kanguva Hindi version.
Producer Gnanavel Raja appears to have gotten irked when a journo asked about the lag in Hindi version bookings. He, however, kept his calm and rubbished the ‘reports’, saying that the Hindi bookings were not open yet.
Gnanavel Raja clarified that everyone can report, but the real report comes from the producer. PVR and all the multiplexes have not opened the bookings yet. There are more single screens in the South than in the North. Once the bookings are open tomorrow, you can tell me what the box office performance is like,’ said Gnanavel Raja.
Kanguva is releasing on November 14th with the US Premieres on Nov 13th.
