Meet The People Behind Pushpa2 Patna Event Thunderous Success

Pushpa2: The Rule trailer launch event in Patna has become the talk of the industry since last evening. Many in the industry were taken by surprise by the sheer number of people who turned out to the event and the way such a magnanimous event was pulled off seamlessly without any notable issues.

‘Who were the people that worked behind the scenes to execute such a grand event?’, is the question most people in the industry are asking in their inner circles. Sources close to the team informed us about four key people who worked relentlessly to pull off the event.

Baba Sai Kumar from ‘Max Media’ and Mythri Movie Makers was the one who firmly believed that a huge crowd would gather in a place like Patna and strongly pushed the makers to conduct the event there. He played a significant role in planning and executing the event. He effectively coordinated with the event management team, digital team, and PR team to ensure everything went smoothly and without any mishaps. He was also the first person to visit Patna for a location recce and to assess the feasibility of holding the event there.

Anurag from the digital media company, ‘First Show’ (Chai Bisket) was the one who suggested Patna as the event location. He played an instrumental role in promoting the event on digital media platforms. He and his team ensured to circulate the content related to the event from Patna right from Saturday morning itself and helped the event grab the right attention throughout the weekend. They consistently generated buzz and hype around the event with multiple forms of content.

Venkat from the event management company, ‘You We Media’, was the one who efficiently executed the team’s vision. It is the first event for ‘You We Media’ outside the Telugu states but Venkat and his team coordinated with local authorities & multiple other vendors in Patna and executed the event so well. Streaming the event on multiple electronic and digital media channels, arranging hoardings with the posters of the film at most of the busy centres in Patna, etc., were taken care of very effectively. Venkat also made sure that event passes were distributed properly to influencers, VIPs, and others, while actively engaging on social media to answer any queries. It is their first big-ticket event with a presence of about two lakh people and the way they executed it deserves appreciation.

Sarath Chandra, the manager of Allu Arjun, was the one who convinced Allu Arjun that Patna was the right place for the trailer launch and took him there. He also coordinated with ‘Allu Arjun fan clubs’ in Bihar & other places across the country and helped them to attend the event and catch a glimpse of their favourite star. He also coordinated with many influencers & YouTubers based out of Bihar and made sure the event got the right coverage.

Finally, kudos to Naveen and Ravi, the producers of Mythri Movie Makers, who believed in the above talents and provided all the necessary resources and budgets to execute an event on such a massive scale.

There are six more events planned in the next two weeks. That is one each in Kolkatta, Chennai, Kochi, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Hyderabad. And also, a possible event in Dubai. It goes without saying that the aforementioned four people are going to play key roles in executing the upcoming six to seven events as well.
