Kanguva Trims 12 Minutes From Modern Portion?

Kanguva had mammoth expectations but the movie opened with mixed to negative reviews all over. From loud background score to over-the-top drama, Kanguva garnered major criticism. The makers seem to be working towards controlling the damage.

Reports emerge that the makers have decided to cut down 12 minutes from its original run time mainly the portions of the film that have the modern sequences in the first half. Many social media users opine that there is a good chance of cutting out Disha Patani, Redin Kingsley, and a few others’ scenes.

The producer’s wife earlier tweeted and deleted about Disha Patani’s limited screen presence, ‘Angela’s character isn’t the entire focus of Kanguva. She can’t dominate 2.5 hours of film! It’s basic, so yes, she was there to look pretty!!!’

Suriya’s wife Jyotika also responded to the negativity toward Kanguva. She praised Suriya’s acting skills and called the movie ‘an absolute cinematic experience’ while she also acknowledged the criticism about the film’s first 30 minutes and the sound quality.
