AR Rahman’s Wife Saira Bhanu Announces Divorce

In a shocking development, AR Rahman’s wife Saira Bhanu announced her separation from husband. On Tuesday night, the news has come out in the media and Saira’s lawyer Vandana Shah has issued an official statement on the same.

According to the statement released by Vandana to a leading news daily, it reads, “After many years of marriage, Mrs Saira has made the difficult decision to separate from her husband Mr. AR Rahman. This decision comes after significant emotional strain in their relationship. Despite their deep love for each other, the couple has found that the tensions and difficulties have created an insurmountable gap between them, one that neither party feels able to bridge at this time. Mrs. Saira emphasized that she has taken this decision out of pain and agony. Mrs Saira requests privacy and understanding from the public during this challenging time, as she navigates this difficult chapter in her life.”

AR Rahman and Saira Bhanu got married in the year 1995 and are parents to three children. Their children are Khatija, Raheema and Ameen. It was an arranged marriage set by Rahman’s mother.

As of now, Rahman has not issued any statement on the same. On the work front, he is busy with Chhaava, Thug Life and Ram Charan’s next with Buchi Babu.
