The 55th International Film Festival of India will begin today in Goa and end on November 28th. A grand opening ceremony is planned at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium in Goa at 5 PM. Many luminaries from different film industries are expected to grace the event.
Sharing the same, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting confirmed the list of guests and wrote, Get ready to learn from the best! The 55th International Film Festival of India is set to offer a series of masterclasses, in-conversation sessions, & panel discussions with film industry luminaries. From sound design to acting, these sessions will provide invaluable insights to aspiring filmmakers.”
Abhishek Banerjee and Bhumi Pednekar will host the opening ceremony. Akkineni Nagarjuna, Nitya Menon, Amala, Vikrant Massey, Rakul Preet, Manushi Chillar, Boman Irani, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Jaideep Ahlawat, Randeep Hooda, Sanya Malhotra, Jayam Ravi, Jacky Bhagnani, R. Sarath Kumar, Mukta Barve, Sonalee Kulkarni and Radhakrishnan Parthiban will be present at the event, taking part in different events.
35 Chinna Katha Kaadu and Kalki 2898 AD will be screened at the festival along with some other movies.
