Diwali Releases Arriving On OTT This Weekend!

Diwali at the Telugu box office was very satisfying. All the parties involved, including the audience, were happy. Films like Lucky Baskhar, Ka, and Amaran became big hits in Telugu. The dubbed film Bagheera did not work. Now, all these Diwali releases are making their way for a release on OTT platforms.

1. Bagheera
   Sri Murali starrer Kannada film, backed by Prashanth Neel and Hombale Films was neglected by the audiences at the box office. The film is already streaming on Netflix.
2. Amaran
   Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi starrer Amaran is a big hit in Tamil and Telugu. The Sai Pallavi factor worked for the Telugu audiences big time. The movie is now gearing up for a grand release on Netflix on the 29th of November.
3. Ka
   Kiran Abbavaram starrer Ka is hitting the ETV Win platform from the 28th of this month. Post a successful release in Telugu, the film was also released in other languages. The Telugu version met with good success.
4. Lucky Baskhar
   Dulquer Salmaan and Meenakshi Chuadhary starrer impressed the audiences from the first scene itself. The film is considered a good hit and it will be hitting the Netflix platform on the 30th of this month.

Surprisingly, all these releases are hitting the OTT platforms in less than a month, following a 4-week window period. We have to see if the theatrical success gets translated on the OTTs.
