Heroine Underwent Therapy After Facing Trolls

Social media is a very hostile place and is often regarded as breeding grounds for trolls and abusers. While most of the celebrities who are on social media have already adapted to it by growing thick skins, a few are seriously affected by it.

One such actress who got seriously affected by trolls, to the degree that she had to undergo therapy is Ananya Panday.

Bollywood beauty Ananya Panday was at the center of negativity and criticism at the early part of her career. She was often targeted by a section of social media users and was called a product of nepotism and a talentless star kid in Bollywood.

“I was genuinely shook by the kind of negativity that I faced earlier in my career. I used to occasionally read the comments under my feed and they would haunt me later. It seriously affected my mental balance and I underwent therapy to cope with it. I got more thick skinned with time and I’m ok with it now,” Ananya said.

Back in the day, there was a strong movement against nepotism culture in Bollywood and Ananya was a victim of the same. It is sad that she got so badly affected by the social media hate that she had to undergo therapy. After all, celebrities are humans too.
