RIP Kulasekhar! The Lyricist Behind Evergreen Telugu Melodies

Kulasekhar is one of the talented lyricists in the film industry who earned a name and recognition in early 2000s. However, he stayed away from the film industry in the early 2010s and years after that. In a latest development, we came to know that he breathed his last at Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad.

Kulasekhar teamed up with music director RP Patnaik and director Teja for a lot of super hit songs. His songs are from the super hit films Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu, Manasantha Nuvve and many others. Ramoji Rao offered him the first chance to pen the lyrics for the film Chitram, directed by Teja. Kulasekhar penned all the lyrics of the film. Later, he collaborated with Teja and RP Patnaik on many successful movies.

Some of the famous songs penned by Kulasekhar are: Ranu Ranu Antune Chinnadi, Gajuwaka Pilla, Desam Manadi, Devude Digi Vachina, Yegire Mabbulalona, Appudeo Ippudu Eppudo are some of his biggest blockbusters.

Kulasekhar was born in 1971 in Simhachalam and began his career as a journalist in Eenadu. He worked as a lyricist for over 100 films. He was unwell for quite sometime and passed away at Gandhi hospital while undergoing the treatment.
