Many times, celebrities carefully endorse the brands and promote some businesses while inviting investors. However, heroines like Samantha, Keerthy Suresh, Parineeti Chopra, and others are now cheated. In return, the investors who put money in the business feel cheated by these celebrities. The business in the discussions is Sustainkart and its founder, Kanti Dutt.
Kanti Dutt, the head of Tritiya Jewellers, has been arrested and is currently in police custody. The allegations suggest that he has defrauded numerous celebrities.
Kanti Dutt and Shilpa Reddy co-founded an initiative called Sustainable Cart during the COVID-19 pandemic. The venture garnered the support of celebrities such as Samantha, Keerthy Suresh, Manchu Lakshmi, and Rakul Preet Singh, who believed in Shilpa Reddy’s credibility.
However, Shilpa Reddy later discovered Dutt had duped her. She publicly apologized to all the celebrities who had supported the project, clarifying that she was no longer associated with Sustainable Cart and had no ties to the organization.
Interestingly, despite being defrauded, Shilpa Reddy has not reportedly filed formal complaints with the police. On the other hand, it appears Parineeti Chopra’s grievance has led to Kanti Dutt’s arrest. Just a few days before his arrest, Dutt posted on social media about the challenges he faced with Sustainable Cart, claiming that despite his efforts, the organization suffered losses, eventually forcing its closure.
