Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is gearing up for a grand release on the 5th of this month. Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the team convinced the governments in Telugu states for a hike in ticket prices. However, there is a petition in Telangana high court, challenging the same.
The makers have sought permission from the Telangana government to increase the ticket prices for this movie. The premieres will have a hike of 800 rupees and then, the regular shows for the first week will also have a hike ranging between 150 and 200 rupees.
There is an opinion that the ordinary middle class audiences would find it tough to watch the film. Especially, the family audiences will have to spend a bomb out of their pockets.
A petition has recently been filed in the Telangana High Court on the same issue. A hearing will be held in the High Court on Tuesday.
