Megastar Chiranjeevi is not just sticking to the mass action entertainers off late. Chiru has been picking different concepts from the young filmmakers. Vishwambhara in Vassishta Mallidi’s direction is Chiru’s genre shift from mass masala movies to a fantasy entertainer. The director already scored a blockbuster with Bimbisara.
In the latest update Chiru has agreed to sign in for a complete action drama in Srikanth Odela’s direction and the movie is being produced by Natural Star Nani along with SLV Cinemas Sudhakar Cherukuri. The movie has the caption, ‘He finds his peace in Violence’, which hints at a violent thriller.
Well, that is not Chiru’s immediate next after Vishwambhara. Chiranjeevi joined hands with successful director Anil Ravipudi who is known for making hilarious entertainers like F2 and F3. Chiranjeevi and Anil Raviudi’s movie will be produced by Shine Screens. Anil Ravipudi is one of those few directors who could make the best use of Chiru’s impeccable comedy timing and the movie is said to be an entertainer. The director recently scored a super success with Balayya’s Bhagavanth Kesari.
With a fantasy film followed by a family entertainer and then a complete action drama, Chiranjeevi seems to be consciously making his line-up a genre-diversified one and a terrific one indeed. The Mega fans who felt embarassed by films like Acharya and Bhola Shankar are now relieved and are the happiest now with the promising films.
