Living upto the title, Pushpa is ruling the nation with his collections. Meanwhile, there is a complaint against the movie that the re-release of Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar has been pushed away because of Pushpa.
But, reacting to a similar post, actress Jahnvi Kapoor said, “Pushpa 2 is also cinema. Why are we so obsessed with idolizing the West and running down things that come out of our own country and instantly disqualifying them from being considered worthy? The same rooted representation and larger-than-life tone other countries appreciate and are fascinated by our cinema for, we are embarrassed by. Sad.”
Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar has been re-released on IMAX screens worldwide. But, team Pushpa 2 has taken over all IMAX theaters in India, resulting in no space for Interstellar’s re-release.
A lot of people criticized this move, saying that some screens should have been kept empty for Interstellar. But, it is surprising to see Jahnvi Kapoor openly expressing her support to Pushpa 2.
