Government Appoints Dil Raju As TFDC Chairman

Dil Raju is one of the successful distributors and producers in the Telugu film industry. With an experience of over two decades in cinema, he is the mastermind behind several super-hit films. Ever since the Congress government assumed power, there have been speculations that Dil Raju would be made the Chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation. The speculation turned into reality now.

The government of Telangana issued a GO appointing Dil Raju chairman of FDC for two years.

The FDC Chairman will have major responsibilities in developing the film industry. He will also act as a bridge between the Telugu film industry and the government of Telangana. After many discussions and considerations, the government seems to have taken the decision.

Interestingly, Dil Raju is also interested in taking up the position. He has the right experience to assume the post, and his entry could definitely revive the corporation and help the filmmakers receive the necessary benefits. The government also wants to allocate funds to FDC and would be expecting a plan of action in further developing the film industry as soon as Dil Raju assumes the charge.

On the work front, Dil Raju’s next film is Gamechanger, as a producer. He is also distributing Daku Maharaj and producing Sankranthi ki Vastunnam. All of the three will release next month.
