Why Dil Raju Is The Right Person During Crises?

Yesterday, the Government of Telangana appointed popular producer Dil Raju as the chairman of the Tollywood Film Development Corporation (TFDC). Dil Raju shares a good relationship with many Telangana politicians and there was talk in the industry for a long time that he would be given a significant position by the government.

Although this appointment is in plans for sometime, it looked like an instant decision. Just a couple of days ago, a woman lost her life tragically in a stampede that happened at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the benefit show screening of Pushpa 2. The stampede occurred when Allu Arjun visited the theatre.

While the woman passed away, her son is undergoing treatment and is in critical condition. This incident sparked debate about conducting benefit shows in theatres which lack enough security management. Immediately, the government of Telangana decided to ban benefit shows in the state.

On the same day, Dil Raju has been appointed as the TFDC president. Reportedly, the government feels Dil Raju is the right person to handle the issues related to the film industry, representing the government. During the release of every big film, producers approach the government for permissions regarding ticket rates, special shows and other issues like conducting pre release events.

A person who knows the entire business in and out would be the right person to make decision on such issues. Given his vast experience in the industry and its commerce, he is definitely the right choice for this post.
