“I got married last year but hid it,” says Taapsee

Taapsee Pannu is one of the most talented actors in the industry. She made her debut in Telugu with Jhummandi Nadham. Later, Taapsee ventured into Bollywood and emerged as a star. In a recent interview, Taapsee confessed she was married last year, unlike everyone believing she married this year.

Taapsee is married to Mathias Boe, a former Danish badminton player. Taapsee believes that she should maintain the gap between her personal life and professional life and not expose her personal life too much.

“I have not shared any press release about my marriage,” laughed Taapsee, confirming that it is a love marriage.

Taapsee added, “Actually, people do not know about my marriage since I did not publicly state it. I got married in December last year, not this year. No one would have known that had I not revealed this today. We wanted to keep our personal lives private and decided not to make any announcements about it.

Taapsee also gives a reason for the same saying: “I have seen my colleagues whose personal lives are exposed so much, and it begins to take a toll on them. Their personal lives will impact the highs and lows of their professional lives. Hence, I decided to draw a line between the two.

“I know my partner from 2013. He knows in and out of me,” said Taapsee.
