Allu Arjun’s arrest once again displayed the unity of the Telugu film industry. From the actors to directors and producers, almost all the noted personalities from cinema met Allu Arjun to express their support. However, singers like Kalpana also called for a press meeting to support Allu Arjun. But, one popular producer from Telugu expressed criticism. He is none other than Tammareddy Bharadwaja.
When asked if arresting a National Award-winning actor was justified, he addressed the issue in an interview. Tammareddy responded firmly, stating that receiving prestigious awards does not place anyone above the law. He argued that moral responsibility still lies with Bunny, even if he had no direct connection to the woman’s death.
Tammareddy pointed out that the stampede occurred because of the rally held by Bunny at the theater, adding that the police and theater management also failed in crowd control.
However, he maintained that the police were within their legal bounds in arresting Bunny and should not be blamed for fulfilling their duty. His stance on Bunny really contrasts sharply with the otherwise unanimous support Bunny received.
