Prasad Behera, a popular Telugu YouTuber known for web series like Pellivaramandi and Mechanic, has been arrested on sexual harassment charges. A female co-actor filed a complaint at the Jubilee Hills police station. The actress alleged that Prasad had been harassing her for several months. She claimed that he touched her inappropriately during the shoots of their web series projects.
Following the complaint, the police arrested Prasad Behera, produced him in court, and subsequently sent him to remand. The court ordered a remand of 14 days. He has been booked under sections 75(2), 79, and 351(2)BNS.
Prasad Behera rose to fame through his performances in a popular YouTube web series, gaining considerable popularity among Telugu digital audiences. He also appeared in the recent film Committee Kurrallu, playing a notable supporting role as the hero’s friend.
