Usually, film superstars are very conservative about their personal lives. Even if they have any addictions or bad habits, they like to keep it under the sheets and away from the media attention. However, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has made a shocking revelation about his addictions.
In his latest interaction with the media, Aamir who is regarded as the Mr. Perfect of Bollywood for his strict discipline and impeccable filmmaking skills, opened up about his bad additions.
Aamir revealed that there was once a time in his career when he used to drink alcohol all night and smoke pipe. Despite having a clean image and Mr. Perfect branding, he too had to fight many demons.
“I was an alcoholic and there were times when I used to drink all night long. On top of that, I used to smoke pipe, with no regard to my personal health and wellbeing. I knew very well that this habits were detrimental to my life and also my career, but I could not end them. Gradually, I started loving cinema more and more, and this is what changed my life. My love for cinema grew over my addictions and I eventually quit them” Aamir revealed.
Fundamentally speaking, it is good that superstars like Aamir open up about these bad addicts as these can serve as motivational stories to those currently struggling with these problems. It could very well motivate commoners to let go of their addiction by taking inspiration from their beloved stars.
