The success of Pushpa at the Hindi box office has been phenomenal, breaking all-time records. The film, which released on December 4, has taken the country by storm, with Pushpa fever spreading like wildfire, from commoners to celebrities. Allu Arjun’s character, Pushpa Raj, became a household name, and the film shattered box-office records across various regions, particularly in North India.
Pushpa, a dubbed Telugu film, performed better in Hindi than many Bollywood films, setting new box office benchmarks. It also became the first film to earn ₹100 crore in its first three weeks of release in Bollywood.
Amidst this massive success, Sr producer Suresh Babu praised Allu Arjun’s talent and the remarkable achievement of Pushpa. He expressed that it is a matter of great pride for Telugu cinema that a dubbed film from the Telugu industry has set such records in Bollywood. He highlighted that the film’s success is a testament to Allu Arjun’s exceptional acting skills, and that such a huge achievement is only possible when there is real talent. According to Suresh Babu, Pushpa was able to deliver the kind of content that audiences across all languages were craving.
