After Pushpa 2, Nagavalli Quits TV9

For those who don’t already know, Devi Nagavalli was once one of the hallmark faces of TV9. She used to hold several live programs and debates during her time as the anchor and newsreader at the TV9 media network. She even took on young heroes Vishwak Sen and Vijay Deverakonda while partaking in interviews with them.

However, she has now called it quits for her time in media as she has set her sights elsewhere. She is now actively perusing a career in filmmaking and has taken a substantial step in this regard. She worked as an assistant director for Pushpa 2 and even Sukumar had nice words to say about her at the success meet event as she accredited her for diverse knowledge on current affairs.

The latest news is that Nagavalli has departed from TV9. She bid an emotional farewell to the media agency that made her what she is today. An emotional video of Nagavalli saying her last goodbyes to the staff and colleagues at TV9 has now surfaced on social media.

This pretty much confirms that she is actively pursuing a career in film direction now and has this decided to quit her media job. She appears to be on the verge of making her directorial debut soon. While she was largely successful during her stint in the media, it has to be seen if she can replicate the same with her filmmaking career now.
