The Telangana High Court has relieved maverick director Ram Gopal Varma in connection with the release of the movie ‘Murder.’ This particular movie is based on the real life incident of honour killing that took place in Nalgonda in 2018.
The victim’s wife Amrutha has approached a Nalgonda court and got a stay on the release of the movie. So director RGV knocked the Telangana High Court on the stay issued by lower court. Taking up the petition of RGV, the High Court stroked off the stay and gave a green signal for the release of the movie.
However, the High Court has suggested RGV not use the names of Pranay and Amrutha in the movie and asked to make changes if he had already used the original names. To this RGV’s advocate informed the court that they would certainly make appropriate changes.
