We shouldn’t forget our roots : Pawan Kalyan at GC event

The pre-release event of Ram Charan’s upcoming film Game Changer was held in a grand manner in Rajamundry today evening amid massive arrangements and huge crowd as Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Pawan Kalyan started his speech by thanking fans who attended the event from various parts of Andhra Pradesh. He expressed his deep gratitude towards several film luminaries like Raghupathi Venkayya Naidu, Dada Saheb Phalke, Satyajeet Ray, BN Reddy, Nagi Reddy etc and said no one shouldn’t forget their roots no matter whatever position they reach.

Pawan also expressed heartfelt thanks to Tollywood legends like NTR, Krishna, Shoban Babu and ANR for their contribution to Telugu cinema. He further said Megastar Chiranjeevi is the base for any actor including himself or Ram Charan. He further thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Home Minister Anitha and the police department for the support and cooperation to this event.

Pawan said he watched Shankar’s Gentleman and Premikudu in Chennai in those days even before he had plans to become an actor. Shankar is the one who made memorable films and gave the hope for many actors and directors to aim for pan-India craze. He appreciated Shankar’s social messages in his films.

Pawan Kalyan revealed how Dil Raju’s Vakeel Saab helped to run Janasena party when he was facing financial issues. Talking about Ram Charan, Pawan said he is like his brother and revealed his close bond with him. He said Charan deserved best actor award for Rangasthalam and hoped that he will win it very soon.
