Anil Made Sankranthiki A Wholesome Entertainer: Venky

The trailer for Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunnam was launched in a grand event in Nizamabad, which saw a massive turnout. Producer Dil Raju was thrilled to host the event in his hometown and confidently predicted that the movie would be a sure-shot hit.

Dil Raju shared, “Anil Ravipudi first joined us as a writer for Vamshi Paidipally’s movie. After watching Pataas, we acquired the Andhra and Telangana rights. That’s when our connection began, and since then, we’ve worked together on 6 out of his 8 films under our banner. He is the pillar of our banner. I’ve always aspired to be a big producer like Ramanaidu. When Venkatesh is on set, the producer doesn’t need to worry. He takes care of everything personally and ensures no money is wasted.”

Anil Ravipudi teased that the movie has much more than what was shown in the trailer. “It’s a typical genre, filled with thrills, twists, and turns. Venkatesh has delivered an exceptional performance as a man caught between his wife and girlfriend. This role will be quite different from anything he has done before. What’s remarkable about Venkatesh is the freedom he gives during the making of the film, and his active participation in promotions. Get ready for a lot of laughter in theaters.”

Venkatesh humorously expressed his wish to drink toddy and eat mutton with the spectators, which is part of the local culture. “Everyone will love this movie. It has superb action and dialogues. Anil made it a wholesome entertainer. I truly wish Game Changer and Daaku Maharaj become huge hits. I’ve done 4 movies with Dil Raju, and of the previous movies have been blockbusters.”

The trailer has already received a thumping response, and expectations are sky-high for the movie, which is set to release on the 14th of this month.
