Daaku Maharaaj is the latest Sankranthi release which opened to a positive response from one and all. Starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, the film is billed to be a proper commercial entertainer with mass action elements. Directed by KS Ravindra, the film is produced by S Naga Vamsi. Meanwhile, the team is in plans to make a prequel of Daaku Maharaaj.
During the blockbuster press meet of the film, the media asked the film’s producer if they are planning to do a sequel. Naga Vamsi ruled out the option and said that they are planning a prequel instead.
“There is a statue showcased in the film without the head. We are planning to do a film on it with a hero, as a prequel to Daaku Maharaaj. The plans are underway,” said Naga Vamsi.
Usually, when a film becomes a hit, everyone wants to do a sequel but it is interesting to note that the makers of Daaku Maharaaj wants to do a prequel but Balakrishna might not be a part of it.
