Not Thaman, But Anirudh For Balayya’s Next!

Music sensation Anirudh Ravichander is gaining foothold in Tollywood after making a stupendous comeback with NTR’s recent pan-India biggie Devara : Part 1. Though he made his debut with Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi in 2018, it took him four years to bag the first big success in Telugu with Nani’s Jersey. NTR’s Devara brought him closer to Telugu audiences.

Now, Anirudh is game for more big ticket projects in Tollywood. Besides Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming spy thriller VD12, Anirudh is in talks for several notable upcoming biggies. Reportedly, he has been locked for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next film with director Gopichand Malineni. The crazy combination is going to materialize very soon.

Balakrishna is currently busy shooting for his much anticipated sequel Akhanda 2. He will reunite with Gopichand Malineni for the second time after previously scoring a blockbuster with Veera Simha Reddy. The formidable duo is once again planning to dish out an out-and-out masala fare with their second outing. Sources revealed that Anirudh is on board for this project which is expected to go on floors very soon.

However, Thaman who delievered a blockbuster music for Balayya’s Daaku Maharaaj being replaced by Anirudh seems to be a sign for change or Anirudh’s gaining foothold in Telugu.

This is the first time Anirudh is going to render tunes for a senior hero in Tollywood. He delivered a scintillating score in Rajinikanth’s Jailer and his thumping work played a significant role in the film’s massive box office success. He already made a strong statement with the announcement video of Jailer 2 which is one of the highly awaited sequels in Kollywood.

It would be interesting to see what Anirudh has in store for a mass combination like Balakrishna – Gopichand Malineni. The project is likely to garner more hype with the inclusion of Anirudh.
