There is no stopping for Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vasthunnam at the box office. The film already grossed more than Rs. 230 crores at the box office and emerged as the biggest hit in Venkatesh’s career. Even after 10 days of its release, the movie is performing well in theatres with housefulls reporting at many theatres.
According to the latest reports, the film has now broken the highest per-location record of the year (for any Indian movie) in the United States. The film has beaten movies of all Indian languages and emerged as the biggest hit in the USA this year. As of now, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam collected more than $2.5 million in North America. The figure is expected to increase this weekend.
With no new releases making their mark, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam is expected to continue its rampage at the box office for the next few days. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, this comedy caper features Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads. Bheems Ceiciroleo composed the music for it.
