Parasakthi Teaser: What A Lady Director

Sudha Kongara is one of the rare female directors who carved her own niche with films like Guru and Aakashame Nee Haddura. She is known for her emotional narrative, strong female characters and perseverant male leads. She is now returning with her new film, Parasakthi, featuring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role.

This is Sivakarthikeyan’s prestigious 25th film. The teaser of Parasakthi was released just about a while ago and it looks like an impactful drama just like Sudha Kongara’s earlier films, just proving her prowess in craft.

The teaser introduces Siva Karthikeyan in the role of a student leader. Jayam Ravi aka Ravi Mohan is introduced as the antagonist. Atharvaa and Sreeleela are shown in other pivotal roles. It is heard that Parasakthi is based on the 1965 anti-Hindi agitation movement. The visuals look striking and the background score by GV Prakash was adequate.

After Aakashame Nee Haddura, Sudha Kongara is once again coming up with another film based on a true story. She has to be commended for taking up such interesting stories and weaving impactful dramas.

This time, she has one of the top actors of the current generation, Sivakarthikeyan, leading the film and Jayam Ravi playing the villain role for the first time. It has to be seen what Sudha Kongara has in store this time.
