People might have a wide range of opinions about Allu Arjun. But the hard fact that can’t be denied is that he is one of the most, if not the most hard-working actors in Tollywood. Apart from going to the very extreme for a character on screen, like how he did for Pushpa, he has a good knack of marketing his films equally well.
This was again proven by, established producer Bunny Vas who is a very close associate of Allu Arjun and has been working with him for a couple of decades.
The talented producer revealed the hidden story behind the meteoric rise of Allu Arjun in the Hindi market, which was originally seeded in a small yet effective manner.
“For nearly 10-15 years, Allu Arjun has been releasing his films in Hindi. Regardless of the small scale of release, or the low Hindi theatrical returns, he always insisted on releasing his films in Hindi speaking belts, when the prices were also very low.
Allu Arjun wanted to make himself a known face in Hindi, regardless of the result of the film. This eventually paid off after a decade now with Pushpa as his earlier work registered him amongst the Hindi masses who are now owning him,” Bunny Vas revealed.
While the pan Indian trend is a fashion now and big heroes are promoting their films up North, Bunny had been ahead of the curve for over a decade and that’s the reason behind his meteoric rise in popularity with Pushpa. This secret yet mighty effective strategy was silently happening for 10 years and it pretty much speaks about the dedication and planning of the Allu hero.
