The film saw an impressive 227.7K tickets sold on BookMyShow in the last 24 hours, beating all Indian films in ticket sales on Friday. As of now, more than 400K tickets were sold on the platform.
In the USA, Thandel has already crossed $400K and is quickly approaching the half-million mark. Overall, the movie grossed 19.60 crore worldwide on its opening day. It is the highest grosser of February month in Tollywood.
What’s even more remarkable is the growth in footfalls with each passing show. The movie’s occupancy even surpassed some of the big-ticket releases. With such a strong start, Thandel is expected to continue raking in impressive numbers, and day two is poised to be even bigger.
