Thandel is one of the hit films in the recent times. Starring Naga Chaitanya in the lead role, the film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Sai Pallavi played the heroine. The film scored a good revenue during its first weekend.
The film collected a gross amount of 62.37 Cr rupees at the box office, in the three days of its release. The film has become the fastest film to score an amount of more than 60 Cr rupees gross at the box office.
Going by the current data about the revenue, the film registered a very good first weekend at the box office. However, the big question that remain suspenseful is if the film would carry the trend in the second week?
The team is confident about scoring a 100 Cr rupees gross by the end of the second week. The target now is to collect the amount of 40 Cr rupees gross. The film is performing well in Hindi but is not matching the collections of director Chandoo Mondeti’s previous movie, Karthikeya 2.
