Actor Unni Mukundan is well known to the Telugu audience, not just with the recent action-thriller Marco, but for his prominent roles in Bhaagamathie, and Janatha Garage among others. The actor recently revealed that he follows the ‘no-kissing and no-intimate scene rule’ for all his films and nothing can change that.
Unni Mukundan’s new movie Get-Set-Baby is all set for release soon and he plays a gynaecologist Arjun with a specialization in IVF. In his recent interview with OnManorama, Unni Mukundan shared that he had n played a romantic hero in his films in the last seven years, from Meppadiyan to Marco. Unni says he found it challenging and it could be his limitation as an actor.
The Bhaagamathie actor reveals that he follows one fixed rule. ‘I have no-kissing, no intimate scene rule. I want my movies to be appealing to all kinds of audiences, Unni said.
Unni Mukundan admits to having faced significant pressure from filmmakers to do the intimate scenes on-screen showing his colleagues as examples, but the actor suggested alternate ways to portray love on-screen. It’s the same policy you follow in action shots. Though you appear to be hitting the person, you never touch his face or body. You can use the same logic in romantic films,’ he said.
