Rajamouli’s Silence, Fans Waiting For Pressmeet!

SSMB29 is one of the biggest projects in Indian cinema. The film’s puja ceremony took place secretly and then, the film’s shoot kick-started without any hungama. Despite the long wait, the film’s team has kept details under wraps, with no official confirmation or updates, leaving fans eager for news. Now, it is raising doubts if Rajamouli is doing the right thing with Mahesh Babu.

Mahesh Babu did not have a big pan-India film so far but SSMB29 will fill the space. At the same time, Mahesh’s last film, Guntur Kaaram, is a mixed bag for the fans and audiences. The fans want to witness Mahesh Babu at his career best with Rajamouli’s film. But, the director, as usual, follows his own plan to keep the details of the project under wraps, which is irking the fans.

Usually, Mahesh’s fans are very calm going. They are the first ones to reject the film outright if they find any fault. Unlike other actors’ fans, they do not carry the film to success even with mediocre talk. They either embrace blockbusters or declare flops. At the same time, they are also patient enough to wait for the updates on the movie. They don’t unnecessarily create ruckus on social media, demanding for the updates. Amidst all this, the debate about the film unit calling for a press meet is growing. Unlike Rajamouli’s usual practice of hosting a pre-shoot press meet to reveal plot details, he has remained silent about this project which is a surprise to everyone.

However, reports suggest that a press conference will be held after the first schedule wraps up, likely in late March or April. While Mahesh Babu may not attend, Rajamouli, along with the producers, is expected to reveal the film’s cast, crew, and a tentative release date.
